Meet Carman. A singer, songwriter, Howard University alumni and veteran that have flaunted a passionate & energetic spirit people have been drawn to. She has served as one of York City School Districts’ Board members, YCSD track & Basketball coaches, Co-director of the York City Youth’s Basketball Program and currently Co-chairs the Wake Up Rise Up, Live for Peace program that has been sanctioned by the United Nations.

Carman has earned fans with her powerful and soulful approach to several musical forms. Residing now in York. Pa., Carman has travelled to Japan, Germany, Hong Kong and many places across the U.S. lending her voice through song.

She has been opening act for Jeffrey Osborne, Norman Connors, Harold Melvin & Blue Notes, Michael Henderson, Rufus Thomas, Eddie Holman, Phyllis Hymen to name a few throughout her career.  

Carman’s current singles “Midnight Star, Take A Chance & Celebrate Good Cheer” released off of Phase 5 Records can be found across all streaming platforms and has received rave reviews. You will find Carman performing as a solo, duo up or to the full eight piece band at many events, venues & festival.

Also, creator of  Cjojo The Tutor a fictional character who educates children.  Toddlers through 1st grade in song.
